Olla Beauty Supply, a distributor of ethnic beauty care products, will move its headquarters here from 76 Bergen Turnpike in Little Ferry, NJ. The company will utilize the space for a combination of its headquarters offices and for distribution.
"The company signed the lease after an unsuccessful search to try to stay in the Meadowlands," says Harry Gates of the Little Ferry-based Gates Realty Corp., who represented Olla in the site search and lease transaction. His company also owns and manages a portfolio of 750,000 sf of flex and self-storage space in Northern New Jersey.
"It was an awesome deal--it was concluded in my first month here," Rick Vanderbeck, First Industrial's new director of marketing and leasing in New Jersey, tells GlobeSt.com. Vanderbeck and senior leasing/marketing manager Josh Levin were the owner's in-house reps. Olla is the largest space user at the building, whose other tenants include Anritsu, Einstein-Moomjy and Toys 'R' Us. Some 47,000 sf remains available at the facility.
