Wells REIT closed on the building's acquisition just last month, buying it from Investcorp. The sale price was not disclosed, but industry sources put the number in the $45 million range. The latest acquisition also follows by less than a year Wells' purchase of two other assets in the former Rockefeller Group Corporate Park, buildings 103 and 104, which were acquired from Investcorp and Lincoln Equities.
Building 1054, meanwhile, has approximately 61,000 sf of space available. Much of the building is occupied by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., which subleases its space from AT&T. The adjacent buildings 103 and 104, which total 380,000 sf, are fully leased to AT&T.
