The firm, which also is expanding in Dallas and recently opened an office in Corpus Christi, has hired three attorneys to occupy the expansion space, John Spafford, vice president of Houston-based PM Realty Group tells GlobeSt.com. He and Doug Little represented the building owner, KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA.

According to Adams & Coffey managing partner Kent Adams, a downtown location is the firm's best option. The firm has been a tenant in 1010 Lamar since May 2002. The firm, which practices insurance and corporate defense law, was represented by Christopher Sido of Swearingen Realty Group's Dallas office.

With the Adams & Coffey renewal and expansion, 1010 Lamar is 87% leased. The 19-story, 264,885-sf tower has an advertised rental rate of $16 per sf.
