Mrs. Ressler's Buys 260,000-SF Pierogies' Plant

EAST GREENVILLE, PA-The Philadelphia-based supplier of deli meats pays $3.2 million for the specialty food processing plant at 1717 Pillsbury Rd. The seller is TTT Realty, the parent of Shenandoah-based Ateeco, maker of Mrs. T's Pierogies.

Ateeco produces its brand of pierogies, a Polish specialty product, based on the original recipe of Mary Twardzik, and her grandsons now operate the company. Philadelphia-based Mrs. Ressler's is a manufacturer of beef and poultry deli products. Both are family owned companies that have operated in Pennsylvania for many decades.

Lee Fein, SVP in the Allentown office of Colliers Lanard & Axilbund, tells GlobeSt.com that Mrs. Ressler's is currently leasing the building. Fein and Mike Zerbe, VP, in the same Colliers L&A office, represented TTT Realty.
