Marketing Plus bought 2511 Texas Dr. from a local attorney, Steven Williams, after searching at least a year for office space to buy or lease, Leah Collins with Dallas-based Mohr Partners tells GlobeSt.com. Williams, an eight-year owner, was represented by Michael Cleary in CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Dallas office.
Collins says the corporation's executives have scheduled some cosmetic upgrades, but intend to move in the coming weeks. The lease expires at the end of June for a 5,000-sf office at 800 W. Airport Frwy., about a mile from the just-bought, vacant office building. "It's not much of a difference in size, it's the layout," she says about the dealmaker for the 22-year-old building.
