Rothstein Kass was represented in the transaction by Marc Rosenberg, Robert Donnelly and Kevin Murphy of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, based in East Rutherford, and by Jared Horowitz and Robert Kuppersmith of Cushman & Wakefield's New York headquarters office. The Florham Park-based Gale Co., co-owner of the class A office building with the New York-based SL Green, was represented in-house by Justin Gingeleskie.
The lease was described by its brokers as being "long-term," but the details of the signing were not released. However, available space within the Gale Co.'s seven-building 280 Corporate Center, of which the four-story, 282,000-sf 4 Becker Farm Rd. is the largest single building, is generally listed by that company with an asking rate in the $24.50 to $26-per-sf range.
"Over the past 10 years, Rothstein Kass has been experiencing tremendous growth," says Steven A. Kass, co-managing principal and CEO of the firm. "We've increased our personnel and expanded our services in order to remain competitive, and to accommodate the evolving needs of our clients and prospects."
