EDISON, NJ-ASI Corp., a distributor of computer components and peripheral products, has signed a lease for 55,000 sf of office space at 120 Fieldcrest Ave. here. ASI's new offices are located in Raritan Center.

The transaction was arranged by David Zimmel, president of the locally based Zimmel Associates. Terms of the signing were not disclosed. "ASI has major metropolitan locations throughout the US and Canada and has sales exceeding $1 billion," according to Zimmel. "We've handled two other transactions for them, including the lease of their former 20,000 sf location in Piscataway [NJ]."

It's also the latest of several recent transactions for Zimmel. Advanced Telecommunications, a telecom sales and service company, has renewed its lease for 20,000 sf at 141 Ethel Road in Piscataway, NJ; the owner is Brunswick Business Properties and was represented by Denholtz Associates.

Also, Summit Drilling of Bound Brook, NJ has renewed its lease for a freestanding 18,000-sf building on Chimney Rock Rd. in Bridgewater Business Park, Bridgewater, NJ. The owner is Bridgewater Associates, also represented by Denholtz Associates. Sal Demarco, vice president of Zimmel Associates, handled the transaction. And Comnet Technology, a telecommunications and data storage company, has leased 10,000 sf at One Kimberly Road in East Brunswick, NJ, in a transaction handled by David Zimmel.
