"Signature Property Group is more than just a new name," says Ira Cantor, president of the company, and the C in the retired C&R name. "It's a new direction and a new emphasis upon a younger, highly energetic approach to our business."

The R in the name is Stanley A. Rothenberg, who is stepping down from active duty with the company. The company's new management team includes Frank Juranich, executive vice president/COO; Jonathan Cantor, senior vice president/director; Betty Nichols, vice president, human resources; Cyndy Pirrera, vice president/management services; and Lori Kenyan, CMC assistant vice president/regional director.

"The only constant we can rely on in change," Ira Cantor says. "Our industry is changing, the state's demographics are changing, housing needs are changing, and a dynamic, growing company must change with the times."

Coming with the name change is the announcement of two new properties Signature is managing along the Hudson River "Gold Coast." Harbor Towers is an eight-story, 200-unit complex in West New York, managed by Steve Wang. Winston Towers is a 31-story, 676-unit complex in Cliffside Park. Michele Aquillera is the manager and Maureen Elwell is assistant manager.
