The space was vacated by ABN Amro Mortgage Group, which relocated to larger quarters in Sawgrass Pointe about a year ago. This building, one of 13 aggregating approximately 650,000 sf, is now fully leased. Miami-based Americas Capital Partners owns the park.

"The school board originally wanted to restrict its search for space to south Broward," says Chris Constant, a director in the Fort Lauderdale office of Cushman & Wakefield. "But, after a Hollywood deal failed and no other quality location became available, we broadened the search to include the I-595 corridor."

Constant and Jim Cahlin, senior director in the same C&W office, represented the school board in the search and this transaction. Pike Rowley of locally based Rowley Group represented ABN Amro.
