HORSHAM, PA-Tom Donatacci has rejoined GMAC Mortgage Corp. as SVP in the business development group. He previously served in the company's capital markets operation.
He left GMAC to become managing director of Harrison, NY-based Cohane Rafferty Securities Inc. In his return to GMAC, Donatacci will be responsible for all third-party subservicing sales and marketing for the business development group, which is an expanding business unit. "We are positioned to take advantage of the huge market opportunity represented by subservicing," says Tom Renzi, EVP of national loan administration, in a statement.
Donatacci will partner with Ken Perkins, SVP, who will assume responsibility for business operations. The two worked together on various GMAC Mortgage Corp. acquisitions during the late 1990s.
