John McCulloch, president of the Boulder-based company, says he is excited about making the company's first purchase in this city. "We feel that this property provides an excellent upside in value and income for our investors in the future," McCulloch says. "Our immediate plan is to finish leasing the vacant space and continue to maintain the property in its current excellent physical condition."
Douglas County, he says, has been the fastest growing county in Colorado during the past five years. Indeed, on a percentage basis, it was the nation's fastest growing county during the 1990s. More than 100,000 vehicle drive by the center daily and it has excellent views of the mountains, he notes. Tenants in the building include Prestige Realty, Steve's Furniture and Rock Mountain Pool and Spa. In addition, there is a shortage of office space in Castle Rock, he says, and this center can help meet that demand.
