"We started talks after Michael noticed our recruitment ad," says Peter R. Spirgel, managing shareholder at Flaster/Greenberg. "Construction and redevelopment are extremely dynamic areas in both transactional and litigation matters.
"We see greater developments in these areas, with the focus on resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration," he continues. "Michael's strengths match our needs, and our strengths match his for an expanded support team."
Flaster/Greenberg's real estate practice group has doubled in the past five years, which Spirgel attributes to increased demand for legal services from builders, developers and contractors. "Land use, zoning, redevelopment, site remediation and construction disputes weigh heavily on the types of legal matters being presented to the firm," he says.
