Located just north of Atlantic City, the Marriott Seaview comes with two championship golf courses, the Donald Ross Bay Course and the Toomey and Flynn Pines Course. Also part of the on-site package are 27,000 sf of meeting space and a new 9,900-sf ballroom, completed this past May.
"LaSalle Hotel Properties, a REIT, cannot take advantage of the redevelopment options on the adjacent 120 acres, since their focus is income-producing hotel real estate," Alan Tantleff, an EVP in JLL Hotels' New York City office, tells GlobeSt.com.
"In addition, Atlantic City is booming, so the owner thought it was a good time to capitalize on the city's renaissance," adds Tantleff, who declined to put an asking price on the asset. Calls seeking estimates of the property's value were not returned.
