THOROFARE, NJ-Aimm Philadelphia Installation Inc. has acquired the 50,000-sf industrial building at 1250 Metropolitan Rd. in this South Jersey community. The sale price of $1.45 million factors out to $29 per sf.
The seller of the building was Commercial Venture Investors, a local investment group. The sole brokers for the transaction were Bill Goodwin, senior vice president, and Brian Knowles, first vice president, of the Philadelphia office of CB Richard Ellis.
Aimm is expanding and moving its home base to the site from its existing headquarters in nearby Haddon Heights, NJ. The company, which distributes office furniture and equipment, will use the building as offices, manufacturing and distribution. While primarily built out for industrial use, the building includes approximately 10,000 sf of office space. The building's five-acre site can also accommodate future expansion.
