The site reached maximum capacity with the assistance of theproperty's leasing brokers Andrew Smith and David Gillece ofColliers Pinkard, who just secured commitments for the lastremaining 12,437 sf of space in the three-story, 60,000-sf buildingby signing on technology firm Invoke Systems UMBC's Erickson Schoolof Aging and start-up firm Convergent Technologies. The teammarketed space in the building for $23.50 per sf.

Located near Interstate 95 and Baltimore WashingtonInternational Airport, bwtech@UMBC is about seven miles outside ofBaltimore. And its close proximity to the UMBC campus affords theoccupants an added bonus; as Grosvenor senior vice president AndrewGalbraith explains, "Tenants benefit from close synergy with theUniversity, enjoying access to UMBC's expertise, students,technology, programs, and facilities."

Grosvenor wrapped up development of 5523 Research Park less thana year ago; the structure is the third of five that will ultimatelygrace the park, which can accommodate as much as 330,000 sf ofoffice and laboratory space.
