This latest Homewood Suites by Hilton is owned by Apple REIT Six Inc., an affiliate of the Richmond, VA-based Apple Hospitality Two Inc. It's being managed by White Lodging Services Corp. of Merrillville, IN.
"Given the location and the abundance of businesses, this area has been in need of a hotel for guests staying five or more consecutive nights," says Chip Woodell, manager of the property. The four-story property is comprised of residential-style studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. Besides the 155 Homewood Suites properties currently operating nationally, Hilton has another 95 in the pipeline, according to company officials.
