She will be responsible for agency leasing and property management of Zell's assets. Zell Holdings Inc. is not related or affiliated with Chicago-based Sam Zell's Equity Office and Equity Residential holdings. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. in February 2004, Patterson worked at Progress Energy and at Arthur Andersen for 4.5 years. She is a certified public accountant and licensed real estate associate.

Also promoted was Bill Reeves, who moves up from office tenant representative to associate director. Reeves joined C&W in 2000 and has completed more than 200 industrial real estate transactions to date. He has participated in over one million sf of real estate deals on a local and national level.

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties presented Reeves with its 2004 Office Deal of the Year award for the sale of a 176,766-sf office building to Depository Trust Clearing Corp. Prior to joining C&W, Reeves worked for Mohr Partners representing national corporate clients in commercial lease negotiations. In that position, he inspected real estate valued at more than $600 million for life insurance companies and real estate investment trusts throughout the Midwest.
