ROMULUS, MI-Signature Associates has closed a recent flurry of deals in Romulus. In the largest of the deals, Signature negotiated the lease of 285,749 sf of industrial space located at 36445 Van Born Rd. in Romulus for tenant Plastipak. The Plymouth-based company will use the facility to manufacture plastic bottles, which it supplies to the soft drink industry. The company currently operates more than a dozen manufacturing sites located in the United States, Eastern Europe and Brazil.
Mark Hamway and Greg Hudas of Signature Associates represented the landlord Ashley Capital. Steve Gordon represented Plastipak. Elsewhere in Romulus, Signature negotiated the lease of 10,980 sf of industrial space located at 28825-28909 Highland. Brad Viergever and Mark Hamway of Signature represented the landlord, First Industrial Realty.
Signature also negotiated the lease of 68,750 sf of industrial space located at 10725 Harrison. Brad Viergever of Signature represented the tenant, Uti United States Inc. through its ONCOR affiliate, Carter, out of Atlanta.
