Arthur Karstaedt, managing partner of the firm, says that he chose Corporex Center because of its location, quality and nearby amenities. The firm is now the lead tenant in the building. Corporex Center is near Interstate 25 and County Line Road. "Flexible floorplates, embedded technology and an outstanding location have proven attractive to a wide-variety of officer users," Glen Sibley, Corporex vice president, tells GlobeSt.com.
Jim McGrath and Dan McGowan of the Staubach Co. represented HKJP. The in-house team of Sibley and Aaron Johnson represented Corporex. Corporex is leasing the property on an "open listing" basis, with no commercial real estate firm listing it. Steve Moyski, Corporex Colorado president and COO, says it is a good time to own high-quality real estate as the Denver office market improves.
Corporex, headquartered near Cincinnati, currently owns assets worth more than $1 billion. In the Denver area, it also is part of a joint venture developing the Museum Residences, which is Daniel Libeskind's first residential design in the US. Libeskind was involved in the master plan for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center in New York City. Corporex is also leading one of the 11 teams that wants to redevelop the $1-billion Denver Union Center site.
