Academy Opens $7M Field House

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI-A Catholic college prep school here is opening a new, $7 million field house. The 31,000-sf field house will sit on the Academy's 44-acre campus, and will officially open Sept. 17.

Two specially designed classrooms in the new field house will also house The After School Learning Center—an educational partnership program between the Pontiac Public Schools, the Pontiac Lighthouse and the Academy of the Sacred Heart.

The academy is Michigan's oldest independent school, founded in 1851. It is a Catholic, college preparatory school for girls and boys. The field house will be officially opened at a Sept. 17 open house.
