ATLANTA-Atlantic Station has hired two retail professionals and a security chief as the $2-billion, 138-acre, 12-million-sf mixed-use redevelopment readies for its Oct. 20 unveiling in Midtown. The new additions are Roma Lopez-Williams, retail management director; Scott Higley, retail marketing director; and Leslie LD Moore, chief of security.

Lopez-Williams comes to Atlantic Station from Atlanta-based Dewberry Capital Corp. where she was property management director of retail. She previously worked for Cousins Properties Inc. where she managed the Atlanta firm's Avenue West Cobb open-air shopping center.

Higley developed the marketing program at the 1.9-million sf Mall of Georgia at its grand opening. He has also been a director of mall marketing for Lenox Square shopping center.

Moore spent the past year as an investigative agent for the Georgia Secretary of State's office. He previously spent more than 30 years as an assistant zone commander for the Atlanta Police Department.

New York-based AIG Global Investment Group and Jacoby Group of Atlanta are jointly developing Atlantic Station. John Whitaker is CEO of Atlantic Station and managing director of AIG Global Investment. James F. Jacoby heads Jacoby Group.
