Asaro, who represented both S&J and the seller, Easton Sports Development Foundation, tells GlobeSt.com that Showcase Interiors plans to expand its occupancy of the building in December when about 9,000 sf of one of the buildings will become available. He explains that another tenant, Elgar Corp., plans to move out of about half of the 18,000 sf that it occupies at the industrial park.
Asaro tells GlobeSt.com that the four-building industrial project was developed by locally based McMann/Oliphant in 1986 and is 100% occupied by Showcase and Elgar, which is a manufacturer and marketer of electrical power supplies and related products. The four buildings in the industrial park include two that are single-level and two that are mezzanine style, with two stories in the front and high-bay warehouse space in the back.
Builders Showcase Interiors uses some of its space as a showroom and the remainder as warehouse and headquarters office space. The owners of Builders Showcase formed S&J Property to acquire the industrial park and have leased back the space to Builders Showcase. The company's showroom serves builders and homeowners by displaying choices of flooring, counter tops, window coverings and other design options that customers can choose for their homes.
