Humana signed three leases valued at $10 million to assemble the space in the mall building where it will handle its Medicare side of the business. The leases are for five years and 10 months. Jeff Tolrud of Colliers Arnold's Tampa office negotiated for the tenant. Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. represented the property owner, Triple Net Properties LLC of Tampa.

The lease brought Netpark's occupancy to 85%. Other major tenants are General Motors and Alltel. The park has 16 tenants. The average asking rent range is $14.50 to $15 per sf, net of electric and janitorial costs.

The former shopping center was built in 1976 and renovated to office space in 2001. The three leases comprise a sublease of 58,086 sf and two direct leases of 56,134 sf and 13,101 sf. The leasing transaction took four months to complete, from contract signing to closing, Tolrud tells GlobeSt.com.
