Audra Bentley is responsible for overseeing leasing activities for office, retail and industrial properties. She'll also take charge of the company's eight-person leasing department.

"We've been working to streamline our leasing department and to situate it in such a way so people have more experience with the activities," Bentley tells GlobeSt.com. More specifically, she adds, one of her primary goals is to increase occupancy of Hartman-managed properties and solidify broker relationships to reach that particular goal.

Bentley says another goal is to train and guide part of her staff, some of whom are still fairly new to both Hartman and real estate. Half the team, she notes handles retail properties, while the other half is concerned with industrial/office properties. "They have a ton of energy and are great salespeople," she says. "We have all the talent and ambition in the world and now we're trying to focus it in the right direction."

Bentley joined Hartman in 2004 as property manager, where she oversaw its office properties. Prior to joining Hartman, Bentley had positions with companies like Anchor Executive Center, HQ Global Workplace in New York City and NASA.
