Carter's Dale Karrh, representing the owner, found the space for Amoena. The firm was formerly located in an 80,000-sf building in suburban Marietta. It's parent firm, Coloplast Corp. sold the property to Sacramento, CA-based Panattoni Development Co. in December 2004. Karrh tells GlobeSt.com the Amoena lease—valied at $1.5 million--took 60 days to complete, from contract signing to closing. "The tenant evaluated the entire submarket before deciding on this property," Karrh says.

The five-story Barrett Lakes Center has 25 tenants paying an average asking rent of $21.50 per sf. The property was built in two stages in 1997 and 1998. One Barrett Lakes is at 1701 Barrett Lakes Blvd. Two Barrett Lakes is at 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd.
