Kenneth J. Vegors and David H. Latvaaho, both from Scottsdale, will co-manage the operation for the internationally known auction house. According to Steven L. Good, chairman and CEO, the two executives are the reason why the office opened in the first place. "The geography of this opening is directly related to the guys who are running it," Good tells GlobeSt.com.

The duo, picking space at 15035 N. 73rd St., will handle business in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. They will target sales of corporate real estate, trophy and vacation homes, investment properties, hotels, resorts and golf courses.

Good says his firm has completed $40 million to $50 million of transactions in the Valley in the past decade. "Most of the branches we have do $50 million to $100 million a year so I'm anticipating this office could pull $150 million a year, plus or minus $75 million," he says.

Vegors, a 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate lending industry, was executive vice president of First Interstate Bancporation-Southwest Region (now Wells Fargo Bank) in Phoenix. He also served as vice president with Norwest Corp.

Latvaaho, who has been involved in the industry for 28 years, has had senior management positions with Cushman & Wakefield and Heitman Properties Ltd. in their Chicago offices as well as Kennedy-Wilson International's Chicago and Beverly Hills, CA offices. "If you look at the background of these two guys, you see they're national platform stellar guys," Good says.
