PHILADELPHIA-The Star Group buys the three-story, 22,000-sf office building at 235 S 17th Street from Urban Outfitters Inc. for $5 million, or about $227.28 per sf. The retailer's Anthropologie division occupied this facility, which is in the Rittenhouse Square area near the flagship Anthropologie store.

Urban Outfitters is relocating to a six-building campus at the Navy Yard where, in conjunction with Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp., it is converting former industrial facilities into office space. John K. Binswanger, chairman of locally based Binswanger, negotiated the purchase by Star Group, which is expanding its Philadelphia presence.

The Star Group is a privately held marketing communications company with offices here at 230 S. Broad St. and in Cherry Hill, NJ. It was founded by Linda Rosanio, CEO, nearly 20 years ago. Among its clients are Comcast, Margaritaville Shrimp, Coca-Cola North America, Arkema and Saladworks.
