"This was on the market for a few months, then off, then came back on once again," explains John Pompay, senior associate at Trammell Crow Co.'s Phoenix office, who brokered the deal for the sellers. "It was back on the market for about two months before an offer came over for it." The buildings, constructed during the early 1980s, are at 21602 N. 21st Ave. on a 3.15-acre tract.
The sellers are local business owners Rick and Judy Cox. "The sellers own another building, but that's for their own operation," Pompay says.
Pompay tells GlobeSt.com that the buyer, Curtis Hauling, offered full price and a quick close. Meanwhile, the attraction of the property for the buyer, he adds, is the room for outside storage. "Their needs are somewhat unique as well so they'll likely make additional renovations to the property," he says. Jerry Hillery and Chris Keeley with Colliers Classic in Scottsdale represented the buyers.
