CRANBURY, NJ-Glenway Edison has bought a new, 427,642-sf warehouse facility at 71 Station Rd. here. The company, which is a distributor of linen, will use the facility for warehousing purposes, general offices, and for a linen outlet location. Glenway Edison currently has its operations in Edison, NJ.
The buyer was represented by Charles Fern and Joel Lubin, both executive vice presidents and principals of Lee & Klatskin Associates of Teterboro and Edison, NJ. The seller, Rockefeller IDI, a joint venture of IDI and the Rockefeller Group Development Corp., was represented by Cushman & Wakefield. Details of the sale, including the sale price, were not released.
"The facility offered Glenwood a great package," Fern says of the asset, which is located on a 25-acre site in the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8A market. "Besides its location and the fact that it is an all-new facility, it also has a foreign-trade zone designation.
