The property is located at 5821 Kelley St., just off Interstate 610. Built in 1959, the structure will undergo a slight renovation, but the extent of the upcoming work couldn't be obtained by publication time.

"We'd looked at five other properties, but this location was good. And it was on stabilized land rather than simply raw land," says Darren O'Conor, an associate with NAI Houston who, with M. Vincent Gyorgy, represented the buyer. He tells GlobeSt.com that the buyers are not investors and have no additional plans to purchase any more property. The seller, private investor John Gold Jr. of Houston, was represented by Richard Norris with the local firm, Greenbriar Real Estate Services.
