DuFresne is best known locally for his success in overseeing several high-profile urban projects such as the Centennial Tower, Renaissance Square, One-Ninety-One Peachtree Tower and Peachtree Center. BOMA named One-Nine-One and Peachtree Center as International Buildings of the Year in 1997 and 2004 respectively.
DuFresne sees ULI's mission as one "to promote responsible land use to enhance the total environment." He says, "Given metro Atlanta's projected 50% increase in population over the next decade, ULI-Atlanta has a profound opportunity to influence community growth patterns."
Before joining Colonnade in 2001, DuFresne was senior vice president of Lennar Partners. He also is a former senior investment manager for the Dutch Institutional Holding Co. DuFresne earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics and urban planning from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and attended Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
