The property, located at 23 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue, was on the market for about a year. According to Joe DePonio III, it attracted some decent built-to-suit offers. "But none of them really came to anything," says DePonio, an associate broker with L. Mason Capitani in Detroit.
DePonio and colleague Jason Capitani represented the buyer and the seller, G. Morelli & Son Construction of Clinton Township. DePonio tells GlobeSt.com the property will serve as Elite Cheer's main training area for the time being, but the company has expansion plans. "This is in an industrial area, but it should suit their plans very well," DePonio adds.
Elite Cheer offers instruction in tumbling and cheer, at all levels, from beginner to advance. The company also trains all-start teams for competitions locally and nationwide.
