Terms of the lease were undisclosed, but asking rents for the space were $33 per sf. David Levy of Adams & Co. represented both the owner and the tenant, which has more than 20 years in the building.
Redcats USA Inc. is branch of Redcats, the home shopping division of French retailer PPR. The firm is a catalog and e-commerce retailer. Its brands include such as Chadwick's, Lerner Catalog, Jessica London, Lane Bryant Catalog, Roaman's, KingSize, BrylaneHome and Le Redoute USA.
"New York's Fashion District is a perfect location for any fashion company because of the community created by many leaders of the fashion industry," Levy says. The 408,511-sf space features new elevators and windows throughout and is close to Penn Station. The 22-story site built in 1925 and owned by Arsenal Co has a tenant roster that includes Winlit Group, Gallery, Forecaster of Boston and Bernardo Fashions. Retail tenants include Andrew's Coffee Shop and Kara New York.
