Christopher Curley with GVA Thompson Doyle Hennessey &Stevens tells GlobeSt.com that the medical firm selected thebuilding because it offered easy access for its tenants along withabout 3,500 sf of added space for Commonwealth Surgical's growingbusiness. The firm is currently located in about 4,000 sf of officespace at 101 Main St. in Medford, but will move into thethree-story, 50,000 sf building at 91 Montvale Ave. later thismonth. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

The mixed-use building is about 90% occupied by several othermedical firms and small businesses, including Fitzemeyer &Tocci, a mechanical engineering company, and the accounting firmDavid J. Carlton.

Curley worked with the landlord's representative Aidan Murray torepresent landlord Everest Partners in the transaction. Jay Blackerof Bostonia Realty of Boston of represented the tenant.
