"We can confirm that today we announced that Starwood Hotels & Resortshave entered into a definitive agreement to sell the Westin Tabor Center hotel to Host Marriot Corp. as part of a larger deal worth approximately $4.1 billion," Starwood said in a statement Monday.
"The intention as part of this agreement is that Starwood will continue to manage this property under its current, Westin flag for at least the next 20 years," the statement continues. "This proposed change in ownership will not have any adverse impact on our guests and the service we deliver at this hotel. At this stage this deal is not complete, and we will provide further information on its completion."
