ALLENTOWN, PA-Resource Group, a contract packaging firm recently acquired by Louisville, KY-based Derby Industries, expanded to an aggregate of 269,900 sf in two buildings here. In addition to renewing its lease for an existing 75,000-sf warehouse/production space at 200 Cascade Dr., it also expands into a newly constructed, 114,000-sf, build-to-suit addition to the building.
At the same time it establishes its headquarters at the Cascade Drive facility, it also leases 80,500 sf of production and distribution space at 7108 Daniels Rd. Michael Adams, SVP in the local office of Roseland, NJ-based Coldwell Banker Commercial Feist & Feist Realty Corp., represented the tenant in all three agreements. "The additional space allows the company to consolidate several operations at its new headquarters on Cascade Drive and also meet its expansion needs in the Lehigh Valley market," Adams tells GlobeSt.com.
Harrisburg-based Conewago Equities LP owns the Cascade Drive property, now fully leased to Resource Group. Jack Shepley of NAI CIR Realty in Harrisburg represented the owner. The rental rate is about $4.50 per sf, according to Adams.
Asbury, NJ-based JG Petrucci Co., which also has an office in Bethlehem, owns the Daniels Road property. Adams represented both the tenant and the owner. The rental rate is about $4.25 per sf, he says.
