ORLANDO-Locally based Signature GMAC Real Estate, with 10 Central Florida branches and total 2004 sales of $235 million, has set up a condominium sales division and named former Del-American executive Jenny Goodman to run the new unit. Goodman's new position is director of project development.

She comes to Signature after handling on-site sales for a year at the Regent of Winter Park, a luxury/retail condominium development where she posted sales of $8 million. At Signature, she will oversee a multifamily portfolio of several developments totaling 1,500 units from the company's corporate office in the Millenia Lakes Office Complex near the 1.3-million-sf Mall at Millenia in southwest Orlando.

At Del-American, Goodman was the firm's Central Florida marketing director for four years. She left Del-American after the firm decided to focus on the booming Las Vegas market where it has several luxury multifamily projects under way, according to Sue McIntyre, Signature/s principal and owner. Goodman "brings a valuable perspective to her position--an insight that we believe will produce big dividends for our Condominium Division," McIntyre tells GlobeSt.com. "As a major sales producer with a keen sense of marketing, she knows first hand what it takes to be successful in the industry."

Goodman holds the industry's Community Apartment Manager designation. She was on the Education Committee of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando where she taught marketing concepts. Del-American officials couldn't be reached for comment on Goodman's departure.
