Goodman, which also renewed an existing lease for 403,000 sf in the park, will get keys to the new facility when it delivers in early 2006. The park at the intersection of Beltway 8 and US Highway 290 is Goodman's central distribution point for North America. In addition to the Houston space, the corporation also leases 150,000 sf in ProLogis properties in Austin and San Antonio; Reno, NV; Miami and Tampa, FL; and Hayward, CA.

"We believe this expansion underscores the value we have delivered to Goodman as a provider of premium industrial distribution space," Ross Matthews, vice president and Houston market officer for the Aurora, Co-based ProLogis, says in a press release. At build-out the ProLogis Park Jersey Village Corporate Center will have more than 1.2 million sf.
