PHOENIX-John Rehling has been hired as senior vice president for the Staubach Co.'s Staubach Retail's West Region, headquartered in Phoenix. Rehling's hire is the fifth for Staubach's West Region in the past three months, and is part of that company's more aggressive expansion and growth strategy for the area.As his duties, Rehling joins Staubach's news leasing group and will oversee shopping center leasing in the metro region. Before joining Staubach, the veteran manager spent two decades with the D.L. Slaughter Co. in Phoenix. During his time with that company, he had been involved with more than 30 million sf of shopping center development in properties ranging up to 1.2 million sf. Rehling also helped more than 100 retail businesses expand in Arizona."Having someone with John's experience join our company sends a strong message to our clients about our commitment to build a retail leasing group within Staubach Retail in Arizona," says Dave Cheatham, executive vice president and managing principal of the west region for Staubach Retail, in a prepare statement. "Bringing in sales professionals who have strong reputations and client relationships is a definite advantage to our clients."Cheatham added that more hiring announcements were on the horizon as expansion efforts continue.
