Round-the-World chose to sublease the Downtown space after moving to its new headquarters near JFK Airport in May. NAI DG Hart arranged the transaction. To procure a subtenant, NAI DG Hart canvassed the immediate Downtown area and followed up with a marketing program. The brokers were soon contacted by AB Watley, which was occupying a temporary space in the office. That deal was about to expire.
"One of the best case scenarios is to find a tenant that is already in the building or neighboring one through active marketing," says Stephen Dadourian, president of NAI DG Hart. Andrew Aspetti of NAI DG Hart represented Round-the-World and coordinated the transaction directly with the subtenant.
