PIDC Issues RFP for 20-Acre Eastwick Development

PHILADELPHIA-Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. is seeking development proposals for part or all of a 20-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Island and Bartram avenues. RFPs are due Jan. 30.

The land is located seven miles from the CBD at the southeast corner of Island and Bartram avenues. It has frontage along those avenues and Interstate 95 in addition to direct access to Interstate 76. The Philadelphia International Airport is nearby as are the Navy Yard, the sports stadium complex and several commercial and industrial parks.

Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development owns the land. PIDC is managing all aspects of the solicitation process.
