PHOENIX-First Commons I LLC of Seattle has retained Lincoln Property Co.'s local office to manage its 196,413 sf of industrial/office property here. First Commons acquired the assets from First Industrial last year.
The properties now under Lincoln's direction are: First Commons at 4625 and 4635 W. McDowell Rd.; One Deer Valley at One West Deer Valley Rd.; and 3710 E. University Rd. The properties have an average occupancy of 95%, and are approximately three years old.
Peggy R. Maxwell, director of property management for Lincoln, tells GlobeSt.com that First Industrial Realty Trust in Chicago handled the management contract before Lincoln came on board. "First Industrial sold several months ago to First Commons, and continued to manage it until we were retained by the new owner," Maxwell says, adding that Lincoln had a prior relationship with the owner through management of other properties.
Maxwell says Lincoln's responsibilities include providing property management services, coordinating renewals and lease extensions for existing tenants and operating as liaison between leasing agent CB Richard Ellis, the tenants and the owner.
