PLEASANTVILLE, NJ-Greyhound Lines Inc. has acquired the 30,625-sf bus maintenance facility at 711 New Rd. here from rival bus line operator Coach USA. Located on a 16.4-acre site that can accommodate parking for 214 buses and 140 cars, the facility is near Atlantic City, just off Exit 9 of the Atlantic City Expressway. It will serve as a regional maintenance center for Greyhound's Northeast corridor.
Greyhound was represented by Marc Isdaner of the Philadelphia-based Colliers Lanard & Axilbund, while Coach USA was represented by Richard Baehrley of Vanguard Property Group. The sale price was not released.
"Our New York to Atlantic City is one of the most popular routes in the region," says Pete Palladino, vice president of technical operations for Greyhound.
"This location is ideal for Greyhound's service to the Atlantic City area," Isdaner adds.
