Built in the 1970s at 4237 N. Craftsman Court, the listing picked up three offers in a three-week run on the market, says Steve Gonzalez of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co.'s Phoenix office. He tells GlobeSt.com that the seller, Brian Lesk of BDL Scottsdale LLC, signed a five-year lease to remain in the class building. "The seller is an investor with other property in the area, but the timing was right to prompt the sale," he says.

Teaming with Gonzalez to represent the seller was Josh Hirons of Marcus & Millichap. Barry Rosensteel of Prin Investments Real Estate Group in Phoenix negotiated for the buyer, David Free of BBCH LLC.

Other terms of the sale-leaseback aren't available. However, the average rent for class C office buildings in the metro is $19.75 per sf.
