The supplier of bathroom accessories for the construction industry will be the only tenant in the 50,000-sf warehouse at 5609 W. Latham St. Clayton Glass, now operating out of 2928 N. 35th Ave., is getting space about to be emptied by Aegis Window & Door Inc."They took the lease before Aegis moved out. It'll be available on March 1," says Gary Anderson with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial LLC, who teamed with Marc Hertzberg and Steve Mardian to represent the building owner, EastGroup Properties Inc. of Jackson, MS. Matt Hobaica with Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona negotiated on the tenant's behalf.
The warehouse's the quoted rate is 38 cents per sf, net. "That's about where we made the deal," Anderson tells GlobeSt.com. He adds that no major improvements were necessary, other than repainting, re-carpeting and general clean-up.
