"This is an exceptional opportunity to revitalize a landmark property in a strong hotel market place," Ogden Hunnewell, president of Burlington-based Nordic Properties says in a statement announcing the acquisition. Built in 1968 by the seller whose lead principal, Robert Sage, has developed a number of other Boston hotel properties including the Back Bay Hilton, the hotel was operated as a Howard Johnson's franchise before being converted to a Radisson about five years ago.
The 16-story property is also home to two restaurants, Bisetuki Japanese restaurant and Dionysis, a Greek restaurant. The hotel, which will undergo improvements under its new owners, will continue to be operated as a Radisson franchise.
