ALLENTOWN, PA-Sure Fit Inc. leases the entire 289,900-sf industrial building at 7132 Daniels Dr. in the Iron Run Corporate Center. The maker of furniture slipcovers, throws and decorative pillows is relocating and consolidating its manufacturing and warehouse operations from 200 Boulder Dr. and 939 Marcon Blvd. here, while maintaining its 30,000-sf office headquarters on Snowdrift Road.

The aggregate value of the five-year lease is undisclosed. Tony Hayden Jr., VP of Conshohocken-based Beacon Commercial Real Estate, tells GlobeSt.com, "the rate is between $4 per sf and $4.25 per sf for the term." Hayden represented Sure Fit in the transaction.

Malvern-based Liberty Property Trust owns the building, and Tony Briggs of Liberty's Bethlehem office negotiated for the owner. The building is a class B warehouse facility that was completed in 1980 and renovated in 1998.

Sure Fit lays claim to being the country's largest manufacturer of ready-made furniture covers with an 85% share of the market. In addition to selling to retailers, it markets online and via catalogs. It will move into the new facility on Feb. 15.

Iron Run Corporate Center is a 19-building master-planned complex. It contains more than 4.5 million sf of office and industrial space. Both Liberty and Plymouth Meeting-based Brandywine Realty Trust own significant portions of the park and both also own additional acreage for development.
