Sabrina Meerbott, associate vice president of leasing, gets new responsibilities as director of retail leasing. Christine Davidson, senior property manager, becomes regional director of operations for Central and North Florida.
Meerbott says occupancy levels among CREC's portfolio of third-party retail properties in Central and North Florida currently range from 97% to 100%. "Filling that last 5% of vacant retail space at market rent can truly create extra value for the owner," Meerbott notes. "We continue our aggressive leasing efforts, even after the anchors and big boxes are in place."
Meerbott started the Next Generation program for the South Florida chapter of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is the state director of ICSC's Next Generation.
Davidson will manage CREC's Central and North Florida division's operational team from the firm's Orlando office. "We believe that Central and Northern Florida offer significant opportunities for enhancing returns on a commercial real estate portfolio," she says.
