ATLANTA-Lane Management LLC, the property management arm of locally based Lane Co., has set up four regional operating centers in Florida and the Carolinas to support the anticipated needs from its growing client base, says Lane Management president Bob Landis.
"This lines up with the company's strategic vision to decentralize in order to accelerate our growth into a larger portfolio," Landis says. "We are positioning the company and the management team to be in the path of growth." Lane's Georgia portfolio will be divided between two centers in Atlanta. The company also plans to expand this year into the Mid-Atlantic and Southwest regions.
Lisa Robinson, a former vice president of property management for Trammell Crow Residential Services in Florida, will head the Orlando area centers. Kim Lee, a senior regional manager with Lane Co. since 1999, will head the Carolina centers from Kernersville, NC in the Triad area, central to Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem. Robinson and Lee will be regional vice presidents.
Also hired as new regional vice presidents for the Georgia operations centers are Jim Collins and Melanie Gersper. Collins owned and operated Marquis Asset Management Inc. and also held senior level positions at Fairfield Residential and Equity Residential. He is a former president of Leasing Legends, a Charlotte, NC-based marketing and leasing firm with clients in 100 major markets. Gersper formerly operated the fee-management division of Gables Residential in the Atlanta area.
Lane Co. has also promoted key investment and development personnel. Loretta Easton moves up to executive vice president from senior vice president. Joel Brockmann, previously development director, is now vice president of development. Debbie Jackson, director of finance and disposition, becomes vice president of finance and disposition. Scott Templeton, director of business services and a former vice president of business services at Archstone Smith, gets promoted to vice president of business services.
