ANAGNI, ITALY-Logistics center developer Eurinpro is expanding four warehouses here to accommodate their two tenants, Silvano Chiapparoli Logistica SpA and UniEuro SpA. Chiapparoli is a leading provider of pharmaceutical and cosmetic distribution. UniEuro is a consumer electronics distribution chain.
The project encompasses two Chiapparoli warehouses and two UniEuro warehouses totaling 538,000 sf. For Chiapparoli, the agreement is the second with Eurinpro in the past five months. Last October, Eurinpro agreed to develop a 119,000-sf warehouse in Anagni. The new project will add an additional 119,000-sf warehouse to keep up with growing demand.
For UniEuro, which recently reconfigured its logistics activities, Eurinpro is developing 274,000 sf of warehouse space, including 10,800 sf of office build out. UniEuro will consolidate its distribution operations for south-central Italy at the site.
UniEuro and Chapparoli will occupy their facilities in May and July, respectively. The buildings are being developed on a 25-acre parcel located three miles from the main road linking Milan and Naples.
"The new Anagni project demonstrates that new real estate developments for logistics applications will increasingly be in the Center and South of Italy," says Eurinpro's manager for Italy Marco Salutari.
